Operation Write Home

I discovered OWH (Operation Write Home) in 2008 through a Memorial Day Bloghop when it was then called "Cards for Hero's".  As I haven't been making many cards this past year or so, I haven't really kept up with them, but am hoping to get back to it.  This organization sends thousands of handmade cards overseas to our military men and women to use to keep in touch with their friends and family.  Each Sunday there is a new sketch posted on the OWH Stars and Stamps blog.  Here is my card based on this week's sketch ...

I recently stumbled across the blog CAS-ual Fridays and this week's challenge is to 

        Create a Clean And Simple project using Kraft

It can be a card, tag, layout, etc., as long as it's CAS 

so here is my card made from kraft cardstock, distress inks, studio G "thankful" stamp and an unknown maple leaf stamp.
